Myoko or Myoko Kogen has gained international fame during the past few years as a powder skiing hot spot, due to it ́s favorable geographical situation bringing in heavy snowfalls from the Sea of Japan. The resort is situated in the Niigata prefecture, 270 km Northeast of Tokyo and 45 km north of Nagano.
