Eid Mosque Cake Tricky cake to make but i enjoyed making this. Turned out to be a pretty fancy mosque too! I used a basic 8" Chocolate buttercream covered square cake with a 6" for the dome which i carved a little to get the right shape. I had made my own fondant for the dome with Marshmallow fondant and decorated it stencils and piping details. Happy Eid to all that celebrated, I hope it brought happiness with family and friends =)

I'm not the craftiest Umi around, but I made this badge for my five year old. His new title is "Salat Inspector:" He's responsible for reminding us of the salat times and for setting out our prayer rugs before we pray. I wanted to engage him more in salat and give him a sense of responsibility. :-)

A great idea if you have a five year old. Responsible for reminding everyone of the salat times and for setting out our prayer rugs . Engage kids more in salat and give them a sense of responsibility.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." Sahih Bukhari Vol. 3, Book 31, Hadith 123

Goal this Ramadan: sleep less, pray more!! Not everyone gets a chance to see Ramadan again, so if you do get the chance- spend your Ramadan wisely be grateful to have yet another blessed opportunity :)
