Shoulder-in - When the horse feels supple on the inside rein, the outside rein can be used to ask the horse to bring its shoulders inwards.  In the exercise shoulder-in, the weight of the horse is placed in front of the direction of movement of the inside hind leg, thus making it carry more weight.   The wall prevents the outside hind leg from falling out.
