The Lightweight Jaguar E-Type was exotic in 1963: steel body traded for aluminum to save 250 pounds, and a ripping D-Type racing engine between the fenders. By 1964, it wasn't exotic enough, and only 12 of the planned 18 were built, leaving six gaping holes in the hardbound production registry at Coventry. In 2015 Jaguar decided to right a wrong and build the six remaining Lightweights, and the result is simply stunning.
