1. 350 degrees. 2. mix together the shortbread cookie ingredients to form a dough. 3.Press the dough into an 8x4 rectangle on a lined baking sheet. 4.Bake for 10-15 min. Let cool. 5. add the dates to a food processor and process 6.Spread the date caramel evenly over the cooled shortbread cookie and store in the freezer for about 30 minutes. 7.Cut into 12 bars and coat with melted chocolate 8.Allow to set on a lined baking sheet in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
