Clematis 'Juuli' (Uno Kvistik, 1984) bears very striking flowers of purple blue sepals with dramatically contrasting stamens consisting of creamy filaments and yellow anthers. The flowers are semi-nodding with sepals that recurve along their margins and at their tips. Free-flowering. An herbaceous, non-climbing clematis which make a delightful subject for the mid or front border or a container. We grow these in cages or propped between low shrubs. Prune hard at the end of winter.
