"How long did it take you to make that?" All artists get asked that question. The most accurate answer is, "a lifetime." It takes a lifetime of looking at the world, a lifetime of making marks, years of conscious effort, and years of play to get to a point where you can translate an image to the paper. Artworks can be finished but the act of making Art never is.
