Survivor Tree....an American Elm tree in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, it survived the bomb's blast and witnessed one of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil. On 4/19/1995, the tree was almost chopped down to recover pieces of evidence that hung from its branches due to the force of the 4000 pound bomb that killed 168. When hundreds came together to write the Memorial Mission statement, one of its resolutions dictated one of the components of the Memorial must be the Survivor Tree Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, Oklahoma City National Memorial, Tulsa Oklahoma, Norman Oklahoma, Great Places, Places To See, Federal

The Graffiti Bridge from NW 59th Western in Oklahoma City - you always looked up to read what was currently on it as you drove as it always changed. Early days of social networking. For years people painted on this bridge without getting into trouble. This was a billboard to tell the world who you loved, which High School football team was the best, or even to advertise your business. But it was torn down in the mid 1990's. Bears Football, Football Team, Graffiti Bridge, John Marshall, Who You Love, High School Football, Tell The World, Tornadoes
