I like use of rocks gravel to slow water down as it moves through landscape on slight slope. Flat stone with depression in foreground a perfect spot for bees & butterflies to get water (without drowning in a deeper birdbath)
Reuse an old tree to make a log pathway in your garden. Good use of "yard" trees and other wood that can't be milled; works much better in climates without termites. Good drainage under the log rounds will make the path last longer.
I really love this idea, would like to incorporate in the stone in the basement area instead of mosaic risers - I've re thought this and think may be too overpowering. Thinking tiled risers and small pebble mosaics in floor would be much nicer.
