This Ice Breaker is part of the Finnish culture

ice swimming is a Finnish winter custom. Approximately 120,000 Finns go winter swimming, starting with the first day of October till the end of February. The toughest swimmers just take off their clothes and dive into the water. The ones pictured are enjoying a float in the Gulf of Bothnia off the coast of Kemi where the converted ice-breaker, Sampo, is now a big tourist attraction.
