Saanko esitellä: perinteistä peittokirjontaa à la anoppi. Tämä on meidän kodin viimeisin käsityöaarre. Tonttimme nimi on Lehtinen, mikä sopii erittäin hyvin, kun katsoo ikkunasta ulos, siitä nuo peiton lehtikuviot. Itse suunnittelin, valitsin kuvioiden värit ja anoppi toteutti. Kuvioihin hain inspiraatiota muistaakseni Helvi Taiston kirjasta Rekipeitot ja Helinä Jaakkolan kirjasta Kirjotut peitot. Hello all, Today I will talk about another costume from western Ingria which combines some elements of the last two costumes which I covered in this blog. I believe that this is a costume of the Votes, although I am not completely certain. This seems to be most typical of the district of Narvusi, although I believe it was also worn in Soikkola.
