Helsinki: A calm spring evening's view towards the districts of Etu-Töölö and Taka-Töölö from the eastern shore of Töölönlahti inlet. On the opposite shore are the Finlandia Hall and the Hesperia Park. (Compare this with an autumn landscape: 19 October
Rikhardinkadun kirjasto, my favorite library in Helsinki. Multy-story building with lots and lots of those lovely, lovely books. My favorite spot is at the top floor, which is lke a SAUNA during summer, but I love the view and the reading nooks.
cafe regatta, it's always open. ALWAYS! Located near the Sibelius monument, so first see the "pipes" (look it up) and after that, enjoy cinammon 'pulla', called 'korvapuusti'. Merikannontie 10, Helsinki, Finland (Taka-Töölö)
Linnanmäki amusement park in Helsinki is, as is everything else here, near the city center, just a short tram ride away. It doesn't have the wildest rides in the world, but I love it's atmosphere the most.
