Here is my second try at mending. This time it is John's favorite Duluth Trading Co. work pants. This is a tear in the thigh that was just getting bigger. New approach this time, I left the frayed edges and put a large piece of fabric behind the hole and added my stitching. If the hole continues to fray more little bears will peek through. My stitches still need improvement but this was 2 pieces of heavy fabric and I kind of like the more organic look. #handsewing #sashiko #mending
