Enormous Aqua Sea Shell Mussel, Natural History Museum, Vienna , Austria
I thought it was a piece of art glass but this almost three foot by 2 foot tall speciman was a mossusk or mussel discovered in the 17th century. Call it the dinosoar of clams. More importantly it is an amazing an lovely piece that has incredible blue and emerald greens. Nature is one amazing glass sculpture. From Vienna's Natuarl History Museum. A museaum as good as London or New York.
