St. Wenceslaus (Vaclav) hauberk, the oldest known complete European riveted mail hauberk, first part of the 10th c, alternating round riveted and solid (punched) rings, the wire is said to be 0.75 mm in dia., with an inner dia. of 5-6 mm (external dia. of 6.5-7.5 mm). The rings are worn, with numerous repairs, the wire might have originally been about 1mm in diameter. It is in the collection of the church treasury of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic.
