here are the potholders that i made for this year's swap. despite the "claw hand" i really got a kick out of this experiment and i hope the recipients like them. the concept isn't very complicated -- just 2 squares of single crochet with a simple design cross stitched on one -- but each one took forever.
Marimekko-villasukat (+ neulekaavio)
Aikaansaannoksia kiireen keskellä. Hän neuloo, virkkaa, ompelee, askartelee, kierrättää ja tekee kokeiluja köökinkin puolella.
Adorned with fern-inspired leaves floating in the wind, this generously sized fanciful afghan adds a modern touch of nature to your home. The afghan is knit flat in stockinette stitch while the garter stitch border is picked up and knit along the sides. The Fronds Afghan uses a chart for the stranded motif portion of the pattern.
