Name graph. Math and Literacy combined activity. As children grow developmentally can do same activity with last names. Great for learning about graphing! You could definitely adapt for each grade level depending upon the skill being used (i.e. you could have 4th or 5th graders create line plots, pie charts, etc.)

I do this at the beginning of the year to work on name recognition but I really like how this graph is set up! This would go great with the Chrysanthemum stuff I do the first week!
