I have done the towel washing/refreshing with hot water and vinegar and it really works! I used about 2 c of white vinegar plus my usual liquid tide with febreeze. I also did a short 10 min prewash soak. I cannot believe how fresh my towels are! I even skipped the second wash with baking soda. I was almost ready to get new towels because they never seemed fresh. Now they are like new again! Amazing and simple!
