Every librarian seems to have that childhood library story: "I used to do storytimes for my dolls," or, "I organized my picture books at home into a miniature library." Well, I didn't do any of that. But, at the Hillside Public Library, in the town where I grew up, I discovered "Comet In Moominland," by Tove Jansson, kinda by accident. I don't even read much fiction these days, but I'd still take time to read the Moomin books.
