Bilbo the Hobbit by Tove Jansson Swedish edition, 1962. When this illustration was originally drawn, there was no definitive image of Gollum. It is an interesting interpretation for a sight-unseen character.

Tove Jansson's illustrations to J. Tolkien: Bilbo – en hobbits äventyr, Rabén & Sjögren, p. 85 - Bilbo and Gollum (clearly, no one told Tove that Gollum was of possibly hobbit stock himself)
