Deep sea Atlantic Wolffish displays the hardware it uses to crush mollusks, shellfish, and sea urchins. These tough-looking predators swim as deep as feet meters) and range from the Scandinavian coast to Cape Cod to the Mediterranean.

The aptly named Ping-pong tree sponge (Chondrocladia lampadiglobus) is a carnivorous sponge. Those ping-pong ball looking things are covered in tiny spicules which the sponge uses to catch tiny crustaceans.

The pistol shrimp competes with much larger animals like the Sperm Whale and Beluga Whale for the title of ‘loudest animal in the sea’.

Bunches-of-barracuda...they have lightening speed and incredible accuracy.  It is a savage and fierce hunter with cannibalistic tendencies. They herd their prey into schools to increase their success.  Very capable of lacerating a human limb.
