Ever since the advance of modernism, architectural history has been 'something of the past', 'something outdated and not worth learning'. Architecture students just jump in and are told 'they can do whatever they like'. 'Rules are there to be broken'. That 'it is all about artistic freedom'. That more than 2.000 years of architectural knowledge is worth nothing. Of no use today. We're just a bunch of lunatics, rejecting something we don't even know. Don't become a fool; know your history.
