Interview: Highasakite "At this year’s Berlin Music Week we met the Norwegian indie-folk-pop band HIGHASAKITE. The interview was a collaboration with Nordic By Nature – a Berlin based agency who support Scandinavian Music in Germany. Together we talked with HIGHASAKITE about who they are, where they come from, their lucky situation of living in Norway and of course hope and passion. What makes them as successful as they are? A nyckelharpa ("keyed fiddle", or literally "key harp", plural nyckelharpor) is a traditional Swedish musical instrument. It is a string instrument or chordophone. Its keys are attached to tangents which, when a key is depressed, serve as frets to change the pitch of the string.

Nyckelharpa built by the Swedish nyckelharpa pioneer Eric Sahlström This one is to be found in the city hall of the commune of Tierps in Sweden.
