AN UNUSUAL EARLY PAINTED BRIDE'S BOX WITH FIGURES Measures 8 x 11.5 x 18 inches, oval shaped with original Prussian blue base and full color floral designs on sides. The top section has an unusual scene with figures and a got in landscape with verse around. The lower section bears the more typical floral designs. Museum accessions report states it was brought to America in 1833 and donated in 1933. Includes some of the original notes taped inside by the donor
