Pennsylvania/Gettysburg, took our two oldest grandsons on this trip in 2003 for their anniversary. This place reeks history, you can feel it in your bones. One place you must visit. Bullet holes still remain in the sides of their buildings.

Gettysburg National Park, PA - my hubby is a big Civil War "fan" and since we are only about 1 hr away, we go often, just to spend a Sunday afternoon driving thru and enjoying the solitude of it.

Pennsylvania, the Keystone State, got its nickname for being in the middle of the original 13 colonies, thus holding the colonies together like a keystone. Today, Pennsylvania is the keystone of family vacations and is our “go to” vacation spot.

Plan your trip to Gettysburg, PA & experience more than civil way history and the Gettysburg Battlefield. Easily find fun things to do, dining & lodging.
