Game #34:  The Red Sox continued their streaky 2012 season by winning their 3rd consecutive game by hammering the Indians 12-1. They moved to 15-19 overall and are still in last place. Daniel Bard pitched in and out of trouble in his 6 innings, Jarrod Saltalamacchia drove in 5 runs, Daniel Nava drove in 3 runs and rookie 3rd baseman Will Middlebrooks batted in 2, one with the 4th homer of his 10-game big league career. The Jays are now even with the Red Sox at the bottom of the AL East. Bautista hit a 3 run homer in the 1st inning and walked with the bases loaded in the 2nd, 1 of 6 walks by Daniel Bard, who also hit 2 batters.
