Game #91: Lester gave up 6 runs in 4 innings as the Red Sox lost to the White Sox, 7-5. He was shaky from the start, giving up 2 runs in the 1st inning and 1 in the 2nd. A 3 run homer by Kevin Youkilis in the 4th put an end to his night. The Red Sox looked like they might give him some support after Crawford and Gonzalez had RBI singles in the 1st inning. Phil Humber settled in and blanked Boston over his final 5 frames. Pictured: White Sox 3rd baseman Kevin Youkilis throws to first base.

Game #104: Not only are the Sox winning, but the breaks are now coming their way. Consider the circumstances in which a rain-shortened 4-1 win over the Tigers ended. In the top of the 6th inning, Detroit had the bases loaded with 2 outs. Then pouring rain left the umpiring crew little alternative but to call for the tarp. The only damper for Boston was that Beckett had to leave his start with two outs in the 3rd because of spasms. Pictured: Carl Crawford hits an RBI single in the 4th…

Game #34: The Red Sox continued their streaky 2012 season by winning their 3rd consecutive game by hammering the Indians 12-1. They moved to 15-19 overall and are still in last place.
