Wild Blue Flax -(Linum lewisii) Lewis Flax, Prairie Flax - Found in most of the western US. Three recognized varieties in North US, var. lewisii grows in both US & Canada. Blue=Native; Grey= Introduced. Five blue petals (occ. white), five stamens with elongated white anthers & 5 rather spherical stigmas. ~ These grow at the edge of our ravine. I think they are wild as the previous owner retained many native plants on the property.
