Jyväskylän työväentalo, Alvar Aalto, Jyväskylä, 1925
Alajärvi Municipal Hospital by Alvar Aalto: As built, it differed considerably from Aalto's drawings: notably, the two Italian piazzas with ornamental fountains and colonnades linked with the sauna and shed buildings disappeared. The most remarkable elements of the completed building were the loggia at the front, supported by 4 columns, and the hall, with column motifs and an ornamental window overlooking the lake (later replaced by a door to a new wing).
