During the Silurian Period, the Earth underwent some major changes that impacted the environment & organisms living in that time. Plate tectonic activity continued to shift the continents. Gondwana shifted further across the South Pole, mean while Siberia, Laurentia and Baltica were gathered around the equator. At the end of the Silurian Period, Baltica & Laurentia came together forming a new super continent, Euramerica.
