Red and Black Eyeshadow. Red and blue are approximate opposites on the color wheel so this would make blue eyes pop! My new to do is to get a red shadow. (Uh, everything is close on the color wheel, but blue and red are not even close to opposite)

English tea roses in bloom all year round. A good alternative to Peonies that only bloom once a year.

Orange peonies in a marmalade jar, love it. I had no idea they came in orange.

Muhly Grass. This caught my attention on one of my visits to Yates Mill Park. I really liked the color and texture! A perennial, ornamental grass native to the southern United States with thin narrow foliage topped in the fall, by the blooms which look like pink or purple puffy clouds. The blooms persist until freezing weather arrives. This grass is drought-tolerant once it is established, but it also tolerates wet soil.

Even smaller grasses have been eaten by the groundhog. The larger grasses, such as the one here, have been more successful. Pictured: Gulf muhly, Pink muhly grass, Punk hair grass Latin name: Muhlenbergia capillaris Zone
