Aburi-mochi (あぶり餅) (Roasted Rice Cakes) at the entrance of the Imamiya Shrine (今宮神社) in Kyoto. There are two shops one Kazariya and another Ichiwa and they have been around a long time, Kazariya boasts 600 years and Ichiwa a whopping 1000 years.
