park in northeast Alabama is secluded in a natural pocket of the Appalachian Mountains chain. The park's picnic area offers a canyon rim natural vista into the pocket below. The pocket itself, is on an upstream tributary of Lake Guntersville.

Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama, USA. My Mama Kate lived in the neighboring city of Centre and when I would visit her in the summer we would always take a day trip to Gadsden and Noccalula Falls.
