The 'Royal Danish' (or Danish Silver Jubilee') Faberge Egg ~ made for Tzar Nicholas to give to his Mother Easter This egg was one of the largest Faberge ever made.

Trans-Siberian Railway Egg - ca. 1900.  Presented by Nicholas II to Czarina Alexandra Fyodorovna.  Platinum, tinted gold, silver, diamonds, rubies, onyx, rock crystal, wood, silk, velvet.  In 1900, the railway that would link European Russia with the Pacific coast was near completion, an accomplishment that brought Nicholas great satisfaction and the support of his country. Fabergé devised this ingenious offering to celebrate the event.

1900 Trans-Siberian Railway Egg, presented by Nicolas II to his wife, the Alexandra Fyodorovna. The egg contained the detailed and bejewelled clockwork train in gold and platinum with rock-crystal windows assembled to a model one foot long.
