How to: Viking hood construction - I used this to make mine. I made mine very slightly smaller and it worked well. I didn't line mine though because it wasn't necessary. I finished the inside hood opening and bottom hems with tape for trim and to cover seams. ~LS

Well, winter is coming, so I& going to present you, how I made this sweet warm and comfortable Viking hood!

The pattern is based on the original Skjoldehamn hood, an archaeological find at Skjoldehamn (Skjold harbour) on the Norwegian island of Andøya, dated from between 995 to 1029 CE.
