The Dog Cemetery Located in the suburb of Clichy in North West Parisian, and built over one hundred years ago, the Dog Cemetery is thought to have been the first cemetery in the world to be entirely dedicated to pets. Known for their love for dogs, the people of Paris decorate the cemetery with detailed ornates and epitaphs of dogs and other pets. Other pets that are buried here include cats, a goldfish and even a lion!
