help end factory farming pigs, stop financing cruelty, please go #vegan

We must fight to ban sow stalls and fight to eliminate factory farming! Pigs are incredibly intelligent sentient beings. All animals are individuals

With each cage the size of a filing cabinet drawer, packed with multiple birds, battery cage farms are hell on earth for the innocent hens that lay eggs for #Aramark.  This outdated agricultural practice is so cruel that it is already illegal in several states in the US and the entire European Union. #Aramark is one of the largest hospitality companies in the world, providing food service for hundreds of universities, hospitals, sports arenas, prisons and more around the country.

Aramark is committing to a new animal welfare policy which will affect millions of animals for years to come—a total phase-out of eggs from battery cages.

All animals should be treated the same. This picture makes me so sad to live in such a messed up society that celebrates a holiday by killing this poor living creature.

Industrial farming is one of the worst crimes in history

The fate of industrially farmed animals is one of the most pressing ethical questions of our time. Tens of billions of sentient beings, each with complex sensations and emotions, live and die on a production line. You can make a difference by going vegan.

ALL animals -- human AND nonhuman -- want to love, be loved, and enjoy their freedom. BE VEGAN and end the part YOU play in upholding "acceptable" violence, animal cruelty, and exploitation inside cultural "norms" of society. Acknowledge the VICTIMS of your eating habits, etc., and turn your heart towards justice rather than injustice. It's never too late to learn reverence for life. www.vegankit.com, www.freefromharm.org, & www.howtogovegan.org

Stuart Levy, professor of medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, first sounded the alarm about antibiotic use in livestock back in the late U. health officials and the Department of Agriculture (USDA) turned a deaf ear.

If you think this kind of cruelty and abuse doesn’t happen ALL of the time in slaughterhouses.  You are WRONG

why finance such cruelty and why eat meat from a broken, beaten and hurting animal? There are too many alternatives.

‎"Very often, [pregnant cows] are specifically impregnated and then sent off to slaughter when they are just about to give birth so when they go to the slaughterhouse, they kill the mother...they will have the baby inside who is ready to be born and then they kill the baby because the baby is very valuable for 'rennet,' to make cheese." - Dr. Will Tuttle
