This activity has students read about Santa's friends in other countries who also deliver gifts to children. They include Befana in Italy, Jultomten in Sweden, Father Frost in Ukraine, the Three Wise Men in Mexico, the Yule Lads in Iceland and Sinterklaas in the Netherlands. For each of the above characters, students put together a puzzle. Students figure out which puzzle pieces go together by reading the character profiles. There are two versions of the profiles included - one where the puzzle piece hints are bolded, and one where they are not.
