Khyeuchung Lotsawa.  One of three named by Guru Rinpoche as a reincarnate Mahapandita from India. Became a translator while still very young, hence his name, which means "boy translator".  Received teachings from Guru Rinpoche and lived as a ngakpa. Among his siddhis was the ability to summon birds flying in the sky by a gesture of his fingers and give them teachings.

A backlash from jealous Bonpos was inevitable but the king's efforts insured the spread of the doctrine in Tibet.

Gyalwa Chogyang, one of the first seven monks trained by Shantarakshita, one of the eight main disciples of Guru Padmasambhava. Mastering the horse of no-action, he radiated the light of Amitabha transforming his body into a raging fire, his crown emitting the whinny of stallions.  Received Hayagriva transmission from Padmasambhava, practiced in solitude and reached the level of a vidyadhara, completely merging his mind with the state of absolute freedom.

He practiced Vajrakilaya, experiencing many miraculous states such as physical teleportation and the ability to pass through solid rock. He translated many Tantric texts and transmitted them to his clan. Dorje Dudjom transmitted Semde teachings to Rongzom Chokyi Wangpo. His future rebirths include Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo.

Palgyi Wangchuk. A ngakpa devotee of Padmasambhava, recipient of many private teachings, attained siddhi through practicing Guru Drakpo, the wrathful aspect of Padmasambhava. Skilled translator and scholar who mastered the mandala of Wrathful Deities, his clan continues to practice and preserve the teachings of the oral lineage (Kama).
