Here’s another Regency for everyone! This dress is from 1808. Made of muslin, it is lined in linen and embroidered in wool in a variety of stitches. The cut of the bodice is called a drop-front, forming a sort of “bib” where the sides where fastened underneath and the top piece pinned or buttoned over it, hiding it all. This dress is in the V Museum.
