3D Model created of the Face of the Man in the Holy Shroud Using the brightness map discovered with the VP8, Drs. Jackson and Jumper modeled in cardboard the "Man of the Shroud" They did this by tracing each line from the VP8 to paper, then cardboard, cut them out and stacked them. They made one model which is in the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Evidence of Scourging on the Shroud(pt.2): "The number of scourge impressions totals over 100. Does this estimate of over 100 lashes on the Shroud conflict with the account of Deut: 25:3? The answer is simple. The flagrum consisted of at least three thongs,so each would have caused three lash marks and 39 times 3 equals 117. If there were four tails on the flagrum, there could have been 25 to 30 lashes times four." -Dr. Frederick Zugibe, The Crucifixion of Jesus: A Forensic Inquiry

Scourge marks on the Shroud of Turin. Reddish brown stains that have been said to include whole blood are found on the cloth, showing various wounds that, according to proponents, correlate with the yellowish image, the pathophysiology of crucifixion, and the Biblical description of the death of Jesus.
