After spending 12 days in Germany, where they just don't understand tea and certainly not in the form I like it, I learned to like coffee. In the press centre of the exhibition I was attending, they made the most amazing macchiatos and I had at least three a day. As I wean myself off all that caffeine, I am tempted by coffee machines. We have coffee beans, an electric grinder and a cafetiere and I always thought that enough. But what sort of machine would fit my modern-country kitchen?
