Avoid using laundry products as it can dry the fibres out. * 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲? Rubbing alcohol and a cloth, use soft strokes being careful not to tear the lace. * 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝗯𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗴? A wide-toothed comb is best, and your fingers can work too. Start brushing from the tips working your way up - be cautious to avoid the braids.
