#1 False vacuum This is, in short, a scientific hypothesis that our universe is actually in a false phase state as part of a larger universe, like if it were a temporary thing (think the real universe is a pot of boiling water, and we are just within a bubble forming at the bottom of the pot). Eventually however that false vacuum has to pop, even after billions of years in this false state and we and everything we know in our visible universe will disappear in an instant with no warning…

Challenger Disaster As It Happened. The part that's difficult to believe was that the crew survived the explosion. At least 3 of the 7 crew members were conscious after the explosion. What makes it infinitely more horrible was the fact they were fully alert during the 2min and 45 sec as the cabin fell from 65,000 ft back to earth at 207mph. ‪#‎nasamismanagement‬ ‪#‎costcutting‬ ‪#‎schedulepressures‬

NASA has published a new photo taken by the Cassini space probe of Mimas, one of Saturn's moons, which provides an excellent perspective view of the mountain in the center of Herschel crater, which is not huge in absolute terms but has a diameter which is almost a third of that of Mimas. The mountain is high even by Earth standards with at least 6 kilometers (4 miles) above the crater's floor and stands out even more on the small moon. Read the details in the article!
