Go to Giverny to see all of Monet's inspiration. -on the borders of Normandy - walled water garden planted by Claude Monet consists of white and purple wisterias, water lilies, weeping willows, bamboo, and the green Japanese bridge
Monet’s Garden, Giverny, France. Monet not only painted his garden, he designed it and planted the flowers and trees.
My biggest artistic influence is, without doubt, Monet. His ability to capture the feeling of a garden is unequaled. Like Monet, I'm a passionate lover of flowers and gardens - for me they are the most peaceful and beautiful places to while away the hours. In this piece I've tried to capture some of that sense of beauty that being in a garden brings. Of light and colour and scent. Where the colours and textures create a living work of art.
