King Christian 2. (1481 – 1559). The Museum of National History, room 25.  In Sweden known as ”Christian the Tyrant”. This nickname is due to the 1520 bloodbath in Stockholm where king Christian 2. ordered the execution of 82 Swedish noblemen. Married to Elisabeth of Habsburg. In 1523, Christian 2. was dethroned by his uncle. Christian 2. never came to power again.
