The Galley Gourmet: Thick-Cut Steaks Pan Seared or Grilled. I used this method (oven) for non-thick cut cheap steak. I will definitely be using this method again, but hopefully next time with a more expensive meat.

Decreased the amount of salt that it called for and it was pretty amazing.  Really liked the herb butter that was used on it.

Fancy - Balsamic vinegar and whiskey steak marinade:  Marinade: 1 part Balsamic Vinegar  1 part Whiskey...  Fill a 1 - 1/2 oz shot glass with 1 part vinegar to 1 part whiskey. This will be enough marinade for two steaks..  Marinate your steaks for 30 min to an hour and grill!    Bon Appetit!

i dont eat red meat but everyone in my family does ! this sounds great to make. 1 Hour Balsamic Vinegar and Whiskey Steak Marinade 1 shot glass of Balsamic 1 shot glass of Whiskey Rub steak with salt and pepper. Marinade for 1 hour !
