Gorgeous, long chain hitch wall tassels. These unique fiber art pieces add texture and a modern touch to your home. The shape is perfect for entryways, doors, smaller walls between door frames and/or windows, or for display with other items on a gallery wall. These tassels are created from bundles of long lengths of off-white/ecru cotton string that have been wrapped with a contrasting yarn, thread, or twine. While I have made many variations, these made-to-order options have been the most popular: black on off-white and gold on off-white. These hangings started as a happy accident when my original plan went awry. In attempting to pull the wrapping cords off the base bundles of string, I realized the deconstructed pattern was really eye catching. Base created with: * 100% cotton yarn, and string (natural off-white) * Cotton/poly blend string (natural off-white) All pieces are hand sewn together for stability. Unless otherwise requested, fringe will be trimmed straight across from each wrapped section (2 different lengths on each side.)
