Reading chains: Every time a student finishes a book, they can write their name, title and author of the book on a strip and attach it to their class chain. Perhaps the class with the longest chain at the end of the year could get some type of reward.
I will change this to a money version: each rhythm is worth so much, and the "Bang!" card will say "Broke! Here is a musical version of the game BANG! It's a fun, versatile game to use with groups of students.
Kids of new generation should have different methods of training .They capable to perceive information faster, with cross-modal processing ,activating all senses at once : visual perception, audio analyzers , neuromotor functions.
Use for form and rhythm- the video timing is way off but the idea is solid. (S) Practice quarter note/rest, eighth notes. Lectura Musical (Mario Bros) kinda fun, boys would love it, could also use for form!
