The simplest chicken recipe there is and perhaps the easiest as well. Mark Bittman's roast chicken parts recipe, plus variations and embellishments.

The combination of sour cream, horseradish, herbs, garlic and breadcrumbs make this a fabulous roast. Simple enough to make as a weeknight dinner served with vegetables or elegant enough to serve for a special occasion. I found this recipe in an old Everyday Food magazine and modified it to make it lighter. I will definitely be making this again when I am craving beef.
