Wing chair A wing armchair in walnut with brocade upholstery, made in England about 1720. It has scrolled arms and cabriole rear legs with club feet. The massive cabriole front legs have shell ornament, with ball and claw feet. It is upholstered in a cream coloured (originally pale pink) floral cotton and silk brocade.
An unusual wing chair, the original dates back to the 19th Century, but the style is very Georgian. A very neatly presented wing chair that has wide appeal. Straight tapering legs on a flush fitted socket castor. The look of this chair can be changed hugely by the clever use of fabric. Despite the period design, it can look quite modern in a plain fabric. The chair is quite wide and the arms are perfectly positioned for your elbows
